Camp Bernie
On my second day of the Leadership Challenge unit my group went to Camp Bernie for some leadership and teamwork building. When we got there we split into to different groups, my group went up to the basketball courts and did several exercises that made you trust your team more. For example getting through a small little hula hoop while holding hands with multiple people in blind folds, which made it hard because when you have a blind fold on you have to trust and listen to your teammates, and the people without the blindfold have to talk one at a time to get everyone through. i also learned to listen to all directions first because you might be able to find a loop-hole in between them like on the spider web were again all we had to do was hold hands to get everyone through. i learned that sometimes being a follower might be the best option at the time, like on the lava shoes were just having one person talk at one time then everyone at different is a lot more helpful.
All the things i learned lead up to the low rope course where you really had to pay attention while spotting some one or they might fall and trusting your team to do the same up.
